Mixed Berry Applesauce

Mixed Berry Applesauce

Carrie enjoys using applesauce as a snack for her children, and I enjoy using applesauce in baked goods. Recently when we had a package of frozen berries to use up, Carrie and I decided to experiment with a mixed berry applesauce recipe. It turned out yummy!

Mixed Berry Applesauce

8 Fuji apples, cored and chopped
2 cups mixed berries
4 cups of water

Boil the apples and the berries in the water until the apples are tender. Once the apples are tender, blend the apples, berries, and water in a bender. Pour your applesauce into three pint jars.

Carrie and I canned our jars of applesauce so that we would be able to save them for a while.

  2. This sounds delicious. My son loves applesauce and mixed berries separately anyway, so I bet he’d love this!

Thanks for sharing it with The Bliss Project! ;)
