Is it even possible that this is our fourth year to participate in the Ultimate Blog Party? Have we even been blogging for that long? Apparently we have! (To see our previous party posts check out these links: 2012, 2011, 2010.)
Our desire for our blog hasn’t changed through the years. We still want to encourage other Christian wives, moms, and homemakers. However, God has clarified our purpose. Blogging is no longer about how we can encourage others. It’s about how God is working in our lives to shape us into better wives, mothers, and homemakers. And our readers are joining us for the ride.
But we hope you don’t think every post around here is heavy and thought-provoking. That’s definitely not the case! In fact, last month we posted each day about different projects we had completed from our Pinterest boards. It seemed like such a great idea when we thought of it. A whole month dedicated to actually completing projects that had been sitting on our Pinterest boards. When it came down the execution of said Pinterest Project Month, it was an entirely different story. It’s a good thing we got a head start on some of the projects because some of them were more time consuming than we had thought they would be. Oh well. Our projects are completed, and we slightly thinned out our overloaded Pinterest boards. However, I think we’ll need to plan another Pinterest Project Month since we add things quicker than we actually accomplish things.
To make the mood festive for the Ultimate Blog Party, we have a giveaway! During a recent excursion to a local used bookstore, I found a copy of Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman. The book is in excellent condition. I read this book over two years ago and blogged about it here.
If you are interested in winning a copy of this book, enter using the Rafflecopter form found below.
